Fender have taken one of their greatest instruments and added color and features to make the 2013 version something that could have been built in 1956 but wasn’t. They started with a lightweight ash body, picked one of the favorite and most requested neck shapes (the 10/’56) and rounded the instrument off with a set of Fat ’50s pickups.
