This is a wild new body design from Danelectro – the Wild Thing. Based on a one-off prototype which was believed to have been made in the mid-’60s. With its trademark textured side-tape, fixed bridge with rosewood saddle, and two lipstick single coil pickups, the guitar pumps out that vibey single coil tone that you can only get out of a Danelectro, while the body brings something completely new into the picture…
The swirling white pickguard accentuates the body’s radical curvature and its contrast with the body finish imparts a distinct yin/yang vibe.
