Ruokangas Aeon Deluxe

Ruokangas Guitars celebrate their 20th anniversary by releasing the new Aeon Deluxe model. The word ‘Aeon’ is latin, and means ‘infinity’. The guitar was designed & built in collaboration with legendary animated guitar sensei Mr Fastfinger (also known as Mika Tyyskä)…

“6 strings, 24 frets – the door to infinity! Tiger-like action, muffin-sweet humbuckers, mountain-like tone. Fire air spirit with a burning neck and strings made from a Dragon’s moustache!” Those were the words by my client Mr. Fastfinger. He made me realize we don’t have an instrument for the modern soloist type guitarist who wants to play fast on full two octaves of frets – but doesn’t enjoy the locking trem. Aeon Deluxe comes with Spanish cedar body, arctic birch top and thermo treated maple neck. Other features of this particular Aeon Deluxe include Indian rosewood fretboard, Aeon Custom set of humbuckers by Harry Häussel, Wilkinson VSVG trem, Gotoh 510 locking tuners and stainless steel jumbo frets.

The Aeon comes in three versions – the Classic with a thermo-treated alder body and bolt-on neck – the Deluxe with a spanish cedar body, an arctic birch top and a bolt-on neck – and the Artist with a spanish cedar body, an arctic birch top and neck-thru-construction. As always with Ruokangas, you have a truckload of options for customizing the guitar to fit your style.
