Reverend release new Tricky Gomez 290 model. Technically not a signature guitar but made in honour of Mexican guitar virtuoso Santo Rico “Tricky” Gomez and based on the one-off that Reverend founder Joe Naylor built for him…

Reverend took the Manta Ray platform, tricked it out for an offbeat sixties look, added modern features, and gave it their famous build quality. The result was a highly resonant semi-hollow body with P90 pickups that’s rich in harmonics with a punchy tone. A Bigsby tremolo completes the retro theme, and the roller bridge and Pin-Lock tuners keep it in tune. Perfect for the player who wants the raw tone and vibe of a vintage pawnshop prize, but who needs a reliable and stable instrument.
