The Mayones Regius CoreGuard 6 features a carved body that comes in Profiled Black Limba (Black Korina) or Mahogany Khaya both with Flame Maple tops. The pickguards are wooden inlaid into the top and come in a variety of woods mainly Eye Poplar Ebony or Wenge. The neck is 11-ply Maple – Mahogany – Amazakoe – Wenge and the fingerboard is either Ebony or Birdseye Maple. Scale length is 25.4″ (645mm) with optional baritone versions available at 27″ & 28″ for an extra fee. Radius is 16″ (406 mm) has 24 jumbo frets and luminlay side dots. Pickups are H-H (double humbuckers) Seymour Duncan Jazz (SH-2n) and JB (TB-4b) but other brands, models and configuration of pickups can be fitted on request. The volume knob has push-pull for coil splitting. Hardware includes a Hipshot 6-string fixed bridge (tremolo arm is an option), Hipshot Grip-Lock Locking Tuners, Schaller security straplocks and a Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut.
