The Ibanez RGIX27FESM Iron Label features a lightweight Basswood body with a Spalted Maple top. The neck is an Ibanez Nitro Wizard-7 made from 3-piece Maple & Bubinga – super-thin, ultra-playable with road-tested durability. The fretboard, like all RGIX models, is made from bound Ebony for tight low-end and quick response needed for metal. The pickups are the USA-made EMG 707 active pickups – designed specifically for the 7-string. The reliable Gibraltar Standard II-7 bridge is the envy of the industry, and the performance enhancing killswitch puts you in command of a head-turning strobe effect.
