Ibanez updates Herman Li’s signature model for 2016 with the new Ibanez EGEN18 Dragons Blood. The E-Gen series is a solid body electric guitar model designed in collaboration with Herman Li from British power metal band Dragonforce…
The EGEN18 was originally introduced in 2008 and is the first E-Gen series guitar model. It is based on the Japanese-made Ibanez S series but features a number of model specific features, including the Kung Fu Grip on the upper horn, the extended sculpting on the lower cutaway, and a full HSH set of DiMarzio Herman Li pickups with additional switching options.
A more affordable version was introduced in 2010 as the EGEN8.
