Hamer Guitars are back! The 2017 Hamer Sunburst Archtop is based on the Hamer Studio – the third classic Hamer design introduced in 1977. Available in two versions SATF Sunburst Archtop Flame Top and SATFW Sunburst Archtop Flame Top with Wilkinson tremolo…

The new Hamer Sunburst Archtop Flame Top has been upgraded with a solid Maple top on Mahogany body, the tone is beefy yet focused and a Dark Cherry Burst on figured Maple veneer results in a visually inspiring instrument. The SATF comes standard with a Tune-o-matic bridge. The SATFW comes standard with a Wilkinson Tremolo and classic Hamer controls and switch orientation.

Hamer Guitars, founded in Illinois, USA in 1973, and finally discontinued by Fender after a slow decline in 2013 after 40 years of production, is back from the dead, thanks to six resissues from its Import Series range. “Now this great iconic brand returns to NAMM to meet the pent up demand from a new generation of players with exact reissues of the most popular models Hamer has been selling for over 20 years” – Jonathan Lee, Hamer Director of Design and Development.
