In March 2015 Eastwood Custom Shop proposed a tribute replica of the 90’s Charvel Surfcaster on their website. In 3 weeks it was oversubscribed by 727%. Now after 25 years Eastwood Surfcaster is released…

In 1991 the world got its first look at the Surfcaster. Geared towards not just the “surf” crowd, but also the country players, it featured a flamed maple top, dual lipstick pickups and a dive bombing tremolo system. We feel 25 years is enough and it’s time to bring back an Eastwood tribute to this wonderful guitar. This will have the tone-chambered mahogany body with maple top, bolt-on maple neck with a comfortable and playable 1 7/8″ nut.

Now they have arrived everyone is asking Eastwood to do the 12-string version…
