The collaboration between Evenstad Musikk-Distribusjon and Chapman guitars started when the Evenstad crew met Lee and Rob Chapman at the NAMM show in 2013, where it was decided that www.evenstadmusikk.no would be the first official Chapman Guitars dealer outside the UK.

From the very start, they planned on making a guitar to honor the scandinavian contribution to music. Two years in the making, the ML-1 Norseman is a guitar designed to cover a broad spectrum of genres, altough it shines the brightest in rock and metal. With stunning, norse themed top, a rough yet smooth back and a humbucker setup with singlecoils, you could throw pretty much anything at it and make it sound big and mighty like the fjords and glaciers of the north. Although a regular ML-1 at the basic core, the Norseman is equipped with Jumbo Frets, Floyd Rose and the Chapman Guitars “Passive Agressive” pickups, thus making it an entirely different mythological beast than the regular ML-1.
