In 2015 we went on an expedition to Longview, WA to harvest a very special old growth maple tree. To our delight, the harvest yielded some of the best figured maple we have ever seen. At that time we decided to make a single guitar to showcase the tree. We named that guitar “The One” and we debuted it at our 2015 Factory Event.
Each year we set out to produce a limited run of instruments that embody Suhr’s commitment to quality and innovation with the best, most exquisite materials available. We call these instruments… “The Collection.”
The 2016 Collection began with raw materials that inspire us and we designed each of the 100 instruments to enhance the essence and beauty of their components. The theme of the 2016 collection is “Beauty Meets Performance” The result is a collection of stunning guitars worthy of the most discriminating connoisseur. The 2016 Collection is available from select Suhr dealers.
