Schecter is breaking new musical ground with their SLS (Slim Line Series) of electric guitars. Designed with an ultra-thin, lighting fast neck and a sleek contoured body, the Blackjack SLS C-1 FR-S is armed with Seymour Duncan Full Shred and Sustainiac pickups, a Floyd Rose 1000 Series locking tremolo, and Grover tuners. Elegant design appointments include a “Hell’s Gate Skull” inlay on its ebony fretboard, and the entire guitar is adorned with black chrome hardware.
The Sustainiac pickup is the ‘Secret Weapon’ for controlled feedback and infinite sustain. First, the pickup signal is processed by the Sustainiac circuit, and then connected to the Sustainiac Driver. The Driver turns the amplified note into vibrational energy. This vibrational energy is then fed back into the strings for infinite sustain. This string vibration is similar to playing in front of a loud Amp.
