Coming Summer 2015 – Ibanez Paul Stanley PS1CM Cracked Mirror arguably the coolest guitar ever made (and certainly one of the most elaborate & difficult to manufacture finishes!)…

Paul Stanley is back with Ibanez. Paul Stanley had a custom model made by Ibanez in 1979 and played it on tour with KISS in the 70’s/80’s. Based on the Iceman body shape it had a unique & highly distinctive cracked mirror or mirror-ball finish. Now, for the first time, you can get this guitar from Ibanez. It is built in the Sugi Custom Shop in Japan so the quality will be outstanding. The cracked mirror is an ornament on top of the maple body, made out of acrylic material because of the liabilities of glass.

Read the full story as told by Jeff Hasselberger, Paul’s guitar-tech, of how he built this guitar: PS Mirror.

“Renewing my collaboration with Ibanez feels like going home to where it all started. Since 1977 you’ve heard the guitar I created on countless platinum albums. You’ve seen it rattle coliseums from Texas to Tokyo. Now I’m making sure that my weapon of choice can also be yours…” – Paul Stanley
