The Gibson Les Paul Classic 2017 T features a grade-A plain Maple top on a Mahogany back with 9-hole weight relief ‘historic’ routing. The one-piece Mahogany neck has a fast SlimTaper profile, 24.75″ scale length, a thicker Rosewood fingerboard with 22 super-smooth PLEK’d frets and a genuine nylon nut. The pickups are Zebra ’57 Classic & ’57 Classic + humbuckers and hand-wired Orange drop capacitors for that vintage look and classic PAF-like Gibson tones. Hardware includes a nickel wired ABR bridge and aluminum stop bar, Grover locking kidney tuners and Gold speed knobs. It wouldn’t be a Classic model unless it had the pickguard but the circular pickup selector cover is gone the same as the 2017 Les Paul Standard.
